Mint Applemint




Mint Applemint also know as Mentha suaveolens is one of the most popular culinary mints and is used in mint sauces, jellies or added to salads, it has large round hairy leaves, attractive mauve flowers and apple scent, it is most suited for the herb garden or can be inter-planted in the border. Prefers full sun and free-draining soil and is a hardy plant which will survive normal UK winter conditions outside.
